Julie is back in South Africa!

Julie returned to South Africa on Feb. 1, after three months in the U.S. visiting family and friends. This trip included staying in Cedar Rapids with her sister Karen, time in Illinois with her parents, a road trip to Michigan to visit her Grandma, two roadtrips to Minnesota to visit her best friend Laureen, and a LONG cross-country roadtrip with Karen from Iowa to Arizona to visit friends. So it was a fantastic trip, but Willem and Julie missed each other extremely much, and had a very happy reunion in Cape Town.
From Cape Town we drove along the garden route a bit, stayed in Mossel Bay, and stopped in Victoria Bay, Knysna, and stayed in Buffalo Bay (extremely fabulous backpackers on the beach there). After a week of enjoying the sun and the beach, we headed inland, back to the Karoo, and Murraysburg.
Since then we've been staying in Murraysburg, Willem has done some tree work, but the economy has made that tough, we work in the shop a lot, and Willem is working on restoring Julie's 1979 Vespa.
Most importantly, we are busy making a plan for our future, and being together. We want to go back to the U.S., and are working on lots of paperwork to this end.
